BAKING BY PEYTON CONTRACT, TERMS & CONDITIONS

Deposit/Down Payment:

50% deposit is paid after order is placed to save your spot, unless other circumstance or specifications. This deposit is non-refundable, but can opt for a one time day/event change. This payment is charged Zelle, or your baking apps online payment service.

Final Payment:

Total order payment is due DAY-OF (before order is picked up) order. All orders being delivered payments are expected day before the event. The order can not be made final without this payment. This payment is charged Zelle, or your baking apps online payment service.

Cake Changes:

Changes to your cake size, flavor, descriptions, etc. will not be accepted the week of order, 5 days prior to pickup/delivery. After that “lockout” date, I can not accept any changes, as they affect the price of the cake.

Delivery + Pickup Setup:

All wedding/large specialty cake orders orders being delivered are charged a $30 fee within the Westlake Village/Oak Park area. Outside this radius is charged the $30 fee plus $1.25 per mile driven. This fee is expected to be paid day prior to event delivery.

Smaller cakes and all other orders will need to be picked up. I will coordinate a time with you within my validity for that particular day.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event of cancellation: cakes/orders canceled before the 7 day lockout will be refunded. However, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. Please contact me to discuss event date change options.

Cake Additions:

Prices listed on my "custom bakes" menu are known as my base price. In the case of additional fondant decorations, florals, metallics, figures, toppers, candies, treats, and more will be charged with an additional fee.

Last Minute Orders:

I try to accept every order when possible. If an order is placed last minute, please understand that my other orders made in advance take priority. Also, the cake flavor will be whatever I happen to have on hand, if order is placed 72 hours or after. Please note that not all last minute orders can be accepted due to the high demand of my businesses products. Last minute orders payment is due day of order placed.
